The Coffee House (CoHo), located in the heart of campus, is a popular landmark at Stanford. It opened at Tresidder Union in 1968 as the Stanford Community Coffee House and from its beginnings offered an unusual variety of foods, entertainment and wall displays of the work of aspiring young artists. Today, the inside of the CoHo is decorated with cartoons of famous Stanford graduates, and the eatery hosts a variety of events, including musical performances and storytelling nights.
