The Dollies, a five-member female dance group, have been a part of Stanford since the 1940s. They were integrated into the Stanford Band in the 1950s. Together with the Band and the Tree, the Dollies appear at Stanford’s sporting events. They choreograph their own dance routines and design their dresses and costumes. The group members are chosen annually by the previous Dollies and the Band. Left: The Dollies in 1981. Right: The Dollies and the Tree debut before the first football game of the 2015 season.
