“Bhangra has always been a huge part of my life; the friends, the memories, the sweat, the tears, and the laughs. Every time I tie my pagh (turban) and grab my saap and khunda (stick prop) and head on stage, I have one goal in mind: to make this the best performance I’ve ever put on. Whether or not that’s the case, I can always go back to the dressing room knowing that I’m surrounded by some of my best friends all trying to achieve the same goal.”
