Rachel Gianforte

“I fondly remember sprinting around Terman fountain at midnight and having a huge water fight with my friend when I had a CS107 assignment due the next day. Fountain hopping is my way of remembering to enjoy the little things in life, no matter how much work I have.”

“Stanford has given me a new perspective on the world. Having grown up in conservative, rural, Montana, coming to Stanford was a culture shock. But now knowing how different people view the world, I am able to listen and understand more views and sympathize with many more people.”

Rachel Gianforte, ’18, Computer Science major with a minor in Architecture

Rachel grew up in Bozeman, MT, plays on the women’s ultimate frisbee team, and enjoys reading, cooking and baking.
