Shirley J. Everett

“Our mantra in R&DE is ‘students are never an interruption in our day, they are the reason we are here.’”

“During my 25 years at Stanford, I have been privileged to work at one of the most beautiful campuses and alongside some of the most amazing people in the world. My team and I have the unique opportunity to make a difference for students by providing high quality housing and dining programs, and other services in support of the university’s academic mission. It has been a joy to lead my team in implementing an organizational model that is dedicated to service excellence, student advocacy, staff development, sustainability, and fiscal stewardship.

I have enjoyed collaborating with talented academicians and administrators campus-wide who are passionate about innovating and developing solutions for global issues, while providing our students with a robust living and learning environment, and the campus community with a transformational dining experience.”
